I just got a new atty. I'm going to say right off the bat, it is a clone from fasttech. It is a deepwell atty called Maggie. I like it overall. I have one issue with it however. The threads of the 510 connection are longer (fraction of a cm) than the positive post. I have to constantly mess with the screw to adjust it when putting it on one of my mods (Vamo and Ace). Both mods work perfectly with all other attys, tanks etc. Is there a way to correct the screw position permanently so I don't have to keep losening it to lower it so that it is at least even with the ends of the threads and makes contact with the battery?

What I usually do is grab my largest gauge of kanthal, usually for me that's 22ga and I make a very small loop that will not overlap on itself, basically you're making a teeny little washer out of kanthal, make sure it's tight to the post and nothing sticks out past the base of it, then seat the post down with the little kanthal ring pushing it out a bit. I've been doing it this way for a while, so long as you're careful it works fantastically well.

Edit: alternatively if you want to use something non-conductive as a spacer you could use a few wraps of dental floss or teflon tape, then screw down on top of that. I've used all the methods and for me the little kanthal ring works the best as it's basically a permanent fix.
