Rechargeable Ruyan Vegas copy ? anyone seen ?

The sellers i can see put their items in different categories, not in "quit smoking"(eBay UK) or "smoking cessation"(eBay US) category. The eBay.fr just limit to buy items from these two categories.

Here is the message when i try to see item :

That charger lacks CE marking and looks very cheaply made. Wouldn't be the first time when chinese power supply caught fire. If there is no charger electronics inside, I would just cut the wire and take 5V somewhere else. But yeah, cannot resist..

Scrap that, it does have indicator leds on charger so it must have some charger electronics inside. 5V could mean it has 3xni-mh batteries. I would be nice to know if it has a heat fuse inside.

*anticipating the reviews @ £12.60, it would be good price even it was just a disposable but going by health's previous products, there is a good chance this could just be another huge fail. one fault of the design is that you cannot remove the battery and add your own.

definitely waiting this one out. really looking forward to the good range of reviews that are gonna be a-coming though. lab-rats, i salute you!

edit:i like the photos deal extreme gives you, shows that the carts are infact of the uber-size variety, similar to ruyan's or the generics which were all a little on/off for me. looks like you wont be getting a free inhaler piece with each cart which could be a little annoying if it is prone to becoming a little doggy as the others are.

Health are proving themselves to be striding leaps and bounds in the ingenuity department, shame they don't care about quality control though perhaps this is their business model: release a device that attracts attention, sell it until everyone realizes its of no use, start production of another and repeat.

these are not rechargeable ruyan vegas cigars.. just something that looks vaguely like one..

the charger output is five volts which suggest a normal type lithium cell.. what cell.. we have no idea being as its rechargeable it dosnt have to have as large a capacity as the ruyan none rechargeable one.. it could be quite a small cell..

the ruyan carts must hold 4 or so ml of liquid to last as long as they do.. these might hold the same then again they might not.. they look refillable..

how well they work comes down to the atomizer and how well the fluid moves from cart to atomizer.. at the price when the battery or something wears out it can be chucked and a new one bought..

it looks okay and worth a try.. if the carts do hold as much as the ruyan ones thats 12 or so ml of liquid they come with.. thats like 48 super mini carts..

the cheap bottom end of the market is where things are moving fast thats for sure..

course we dont know what strength or taste the liquid is as yet.. if they are gonna be (can be) dripped or topped it dosnt really matter whats in em.. if they aint it certainly does.. DX have had problems with refills not being much good or saying whats in them with their earlier e cig lines.. their automated system dosnt handle multiple choice options very well.. in fact it dosnt handle them at all.. u get the skua number and thats it..

I would imagine that if htese are rachargeable, then they most likely will be able ot be refilled- no sense recharging soemthign with a dry cartridge- the only way I'd imagine they couldn't be refilled is if their atomizers and cartridges are all one sealed unit and have to be replaced as a whole with hteir own proprietary cart/atmizer combos

You can see the carts over at dx and they look like a big standard cart so refilling should be easy

lol htose pictures show cheap paper on the cigars that are peeling off, oand one shows a cigar where the liquid leaked and stained the paper- Guess they only had one old cigar from which to take pictures of? lol

the cheap paper is to make it more cigar like.. he he.. i when i used to smoke the real thing the ends coming unraveled cos i chewed em too much was always a problem..

u could alway paint em in boat varnish.. he he

i would avoid the DX semi automatic but the paper cigar look alike is with a try.. even if it only last a couple of weeks but works well during this time period its worth the money..

my semi-automaic went Kaput in about 90 seconds flat, switch broke , overheated something and it died. A lesson learned.
