I've got a simple (and probably dumb) question - what do you modders use to recharge the batteries you use in your projects - i.e. those 3.7v rechargeable AAs? Do you just use an off-the-shelf charger for "normal" rechargeable batteries?

How about the smaller CR2s? What do you use for those?

I'm thinking of making my own box using one of these batts:

I've got the wiring and all that down, I just need to know what people use to recharge them.

MoonMan, Deal Extreme also sells the charger for that battery. They have a lot to choose from. The one you linked to will fit pretty much any of the lithium multi chargers. Here is a link to one there:

DealExtreme: $8.81 TrustFire All-in-One Charger (for 10430/10440/14500/16340 /17670/18650/CR123A)

If you look under Electronics, then under Chargers, you will find a lot more. I bought this one because it had the best features:

DealExtreme: $12.46 UltraFire 3.6/3.7V Battery Charger

Nicowolf--How long does it take you to recieve an order from Deal Extreme here in the US. I have heard that in Canada it takes a long time, but I have no feedback for the US--Thanks in advance----Sun

I have only ordered once so far. It took one week once they had the order shipped. It took about 2 days to get the order together to ship. So, all told, just under two weeks.

EDIT: I am curious about Battery Junction too. Could ya share some info on them?

I ended up buying the exact same one you did! I avoided that cheaper one because there were a few reports of it blowing up.

Nicowolf--5 to 7 days max on Battery Junction. When I order over the weekend, it usually hits my door by Thursday--very good service, but the prices are more then Deal Extreme---Sun
