Wow!!! I still can't believe this! I have never won anything, wanted to win this contest, but figured I wouldn't, but at least I could try and share some of my recipes, maybe they would help someone else and I could read others to get ideas.

I had to read this thread a couple of time to make sure it really said my name as the winner! Still not really believing I won!

Sending a pm.

Thank you so much, you have no idea how much this is appreciated. I have had my struggles and still struggle at times, what a boost to my vaping morale this is!

Not to mention that my vaping funding is non-existent this week and I figured that much needed DIY supplies would have to wait until next week at the earliest to be ordered and/or arrive here.

Thank you too to ecigexpress for being here for me, this contest notwithstanding, a great company. Wonderful customer service, low prices and great sales, gigantic selectionof flavorings and excellent quality of DIY supplies, tasty pre-mixed juices, hardware, and super fast shipping.

How neat is this? Wow indeed! Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)

Thanks matador!

I know it is wonderful prize. I am still in shock. Called the steady on the way to work (he's lucky he didn't get a call at 5:30 A.M. when I first read I won) and was telling him over and over how amazed I am that I won this.

Can't wait to tell my youngest daughter who still lives with me, she was asleep when I left for work (and yes is lucky I didn't wake her up too at 5:30 A.M. ). :) I am still hoping to get her into vaping, said she might try when she comes back from a vacation at the end of this month.

It is chilly and very rainy here in Rochester, but it looks like this rainy day and Monday is not getting me down today!

Guess you can tell, I am still doing the happy dance on the inside about this. :)

Had to post an update. ecigexpress is again amazing!

I won the May recipe contest on Monday. Had immediate PM responses from Linxx that day, among them the offer that there was going to be more flavorings in the warehouse that were going to be listed very soon, so if I wanted to I could take my time and a list would be forwarded to me as soon as they could list them, so I could select whatever I wanted as my prize flavorings and take my time doing so.

How cool is that? Unbelievably generous considering everything sent to me is free to me!

I had an idea of what I would request before that kind and extremely generous offer, and I truly did not want to take advantage of the unheard of good fortune I had in just winning something for once in my life and in Linxx's good nature, so I sent a list on Monday afternoon of flavorings listed already.

And guess what? I got a shipping confirmation number today, priority mail no less!!! A mere 3 days with a prize as substantial as this!

The Cook Book is a wonderful idea, in fact, without a contest I would have entered my recipes and will continue to. I love looking at other recipes and love sharing mine. I think it is a wonderful database for us vapers, and one sorely needed, since all the recipes are in 10 ml at 0 nic, they are so easily customizable to individual tastes, individual nic strengths, different ml size batches, and incorporate different company's flavorings that are all easily, readily, and priced well at ecigexpress. No need to go to 3 or 4 vendors to get ingredients for a DIY juice.

I have a couple more recipes I want to post to the book next week, and will hopefully more when I get my prize package and start to experiment making the new and hopefully tasty concoctions I have planned with my prize flavorings.

And I am doing it because as I posted above, because I really think the recipe book is a great asset to DIY'ers at any level. So many recipes there already, some a bit complex, most using just two or three flavorings. So many easy to make and use some of the same flavorings. I don't want to be included in any consideration for winning the June prize for any and all contributions I make this month, sharing and reading recipes is a reward within itself truly.

Thank you again Linxx and ecigexpress for your kindness, generosity and professionalism and for choosing me for the May 2012 prize.

And thank you again for creating the Cook Book, it truly is a great reference tool for anyone into DIY, or even thinking of dabbling in it. :)
