Does anyone have any recommendations for a quality 5 volt bottom feed PV? I have been switching on and off between a Bloog kr808 and a 5 volt box mod for a while and love both however I think I am ready to upgrade the 5 volt to a feeder system to get the pure taste of dripping without the hassle of actually dripping. I love the taste of dripping so I am looking for something that does not use Carts and is still hassle free.

Any recommendations would help. And yes I know VV does 5 volt but I feel 5 volt is my sweet spot so I see no reason to pay more for a VV unit. If anyone knows of a 5 volt that has a feeder, price not the most important thing, please let me know. I prefer one that uses 14500 batts as these are the ones I currently have but any will do.

Also not sure the difference in performance or maintenance between bottom and top feed systems but either would work as long as its fairly hassle free.

Thanks!

If old goat doesn't have one he might could make you one (can't do links on my iPod)

Yeah thanks I just found the Old Goat mods. I heard about them a while ago but was not in the market for one then... seems like I will be asking him about it. Thanks for the assistance. I am surprised I didn't get more responses yet but thanks I will contact him and see.

I have an Old Goat 5 volt and it works great! It's plastic so be careful with it. If your going to take it with you on the go a better choice would be something metal like a Reo Grand (you can use a 4.8 volt battery with it), it will take abuse better.

GLV3 has a resisted 5 volt version. It uses 2 - CR123's.

I did not know the GLV3 had a 5 volt version, thats awesome! I'm still leaning towards the Old Goat though due to price. As for the Reo... thats a good idea and using a 4.8v batt may work but I think I will wait till they have a 5 volt design before I spend that much :)

@prometheus, Good to see a fellow pittsburgh vaper here on ecf! I can't offer you any better advice from what's already been added here, but I do know you can get a REO, Grand or Mini, in Black & Gold!

Plus you can use one of those 4.8v batts in the Grand for the 5v experience, and I don't think you can do much better in terms of a feeding system than the REO.
