I am planning to buy a bottom feed box from old goat. This will be my first drip or box anything. I have been using pre filled cartages so far. Anyways... Whats the difference (other than the obvious 1 volt) between 5 and 6 volt boxes. Also what would you recommend? I like pretty strong menthol tastes so I do not think 5 or 6 volt would create to much vapor or what not.
Opinions?

Can only comment on what I've used. On my mods I've used a 3.7v, 2 3v, and a 5v. 6v was too high, 3.7 was a little cool. My personal favorite would be anything from 4-5v, its a nice warm vape that brings out most flavors to their potential. Anything higher was too hot or juice-scorching for me. Some swear by 6-8 volts.

Its all preference, but don't kid yourself, anything over 4v is producing amazing vapor, mostly determined by the juice itself and how its been fed to the atomizer. If you have no idea I would recommend the lower one though. While I doubt anyone would consider 5v "too few volts", 6volts could easily be "too many". Then again, with the right ohms rating on your atomizer anything goes, not to mention if your using dual coils.

Prior to variable voltage mods coming out, most people claimed that 5 volts mods were the sweet spot.
Now with variable voltage, it is starting to look to me like the sweet spot for many people is somewhere closer to 4.5 volts.

But really, it is going to depend on what kind of atomizer you are using.
I'm sure there are a bunch of people who prefer higher voltage with high resistance atomizers.
