I'd actually see if somebody will let you drop your drip tip into their cloud setup. It's not for everyone. It's a truck-load of vapor. A buddy of mine brought his weather creation device to our New Years party. Too much vapor for me. There's nothing wrong with a nice, dense vape that's chock-full of flavor though. He let me try his daily setup and it was really nice. It was a dual coil, 24 AWG, .6 on a dual 18650 (parallel) mech mod. I'm sorry that I can't remember exactly what atty it was. I think it might have been a Mutation with the airflow closed up a bit. Great flavor, all the vapor I could take and a pretty easy looking build.
Looking at the energy potential in a 30A 18650, things get frightening when you consider the possibilities for when things get pear shaped. If you are new to building coils and haven't read or watched a ton of videos on battery safety and Ohm's law, I would recommend that you get yourself a 50W regulated box and a couple of RBAs. Maybe a Tugboat, Magma, or a Hobo to go with it. Pick up a spool of 28 and 26 and have a go at steam-engine.org modelling your potential builds. Youtube is a great place to see what builds people are running on stuff for their purposes, whether it's flavor or the pursuit of clouds.
That's just 2 cents from a guy that's been at this less than a month. I still don't see much need for a mech in my life. They're pretty, but my box mod will do what they do and more, while doing it better, IMO. Just be safe. Best of luck to you.
EDIT: I forgot to answer your question, sorry. I vape my mini Nautilus at 10-12W and my Genitanks with their stock coils at 10W. 10 is the lowest the Sig 100+ goes, but it's a fine vape. I've rebuilt the new-style Kanger dual coils with 28 gauge singles wicked with rayon. They are happy anywhere from 10-22W depending on wicking ability.
