24 Gauge Kanthal, 8 wrap quad coils at .2 ohms at 100-120 watts daily on a Mutation Xv2 RDA and a Sigelei 150. I just dripped and bumped it up to 140 watts (what I built it for) and just like Steam Engine says, quite cool vapor, just a bit warm. If you build the right coil and have the air flow, only the RDA gets hot with chain vaping. I vape max VG at 3mg, and unlike Teflon Don says my flavor tastes better to me. I'm lucky to have a B&M close to me that sells really good juice at inexpensive prices, just got 144ml for $34. As a hobby, the price for juice is worth it to many just like spending money on any other hobby. Many also dabble into the DIY juice and can easily make 30ml for around $1.

I wish I could help, Hype, but I don't own one. I have read more of the SMY than the others. Good luck and I hope to read your results. Please post them on the forum when you get them.

How do y'all vape above like 50? Hell over 30 makes stuff taste burnt to me? I know it does depend on coil setup but I couldn't see how anybody would need more than 100. Isn't te vapor super hot?
It all depends on the coil size, style, wicking and airflow. The thermal flux really is all based on a hot or cool vape. IE: The coil in my signature is a cool vape, a lot of flavor/vapor, and i fire it at 125w. Yet a standard dual 6-7 wrap 24ga coil would be a much hotter vape at the same wattage.

As for the comment on losing flavor, I've found nothing but increased flavor, but you can change the flavor profile slightly (highlighted flavor aspects like cinnamon ) at higher wattages.

To each their own, but I honestly question whether a person could inhale the vapor/heat generated by running 250w, at least repeatedly.

In that well known video of the chinese guy talking about one of the VA 250w clones he literally sets his cotton/RDA on fire when he goes above 175w...LOL.

that was a great video. The panic fire and the coughing, etc. He was a very poor marketer.

That much power allows you to use big coils like this one.

Or upgrade to the Darth-Mod by Vadervape, which comes in at a conservative 2.25 ⨉ 10^32 J of output power

I taking the mic, sorry thats my default state. There is definitely a place for high power mods, I just wouldn't want to carry one around where people could see me.
