Wow. That is a beautiful mod. Not quite as sexy as the Stingray, but very nice.

You know the more of these mods that I see, I just can't help but wonder when someone's going to make one that looks like a lightsaber hilt. Maybe with an electronic atomizer that will glow red when I hit it. Now that I would pay serious money for.

End of Line.

lol
I have a stingray and it blows it away.
No contest. Better made, no rice pin.
Recessed switch, much better lock and almost twice as thick.

That Ragnarok is nice! I really wanted to stay away from spending $100 on a mechanical mod, but that is the first one I've seen that might be worth it. After watching a couple of YouTube reviews it's definitely on my wishlist. Good call sir. Anybody else got a winner?

End of line.
X2. The Rag is indestructible, never misses, requires minimal adjustments and patinas really nicely. I love mine.

Ok. New question. The Ragnarok can be purchased in either copper or stainless steel. I'm not completely sure if that means the battery contacts are also copper or stainless steel. Having a bit of an issue finding an answer on that one. Maybe it doesn't matter. Is there a benefit to having your contacts made out of one particular metal or another?

Still planning on doing a little research on that Stingray tonight. It is a pretty sharp looking mod. That tail that's etched into the bottom is just too much, & I definitely tend to be a sucker for things like that.

End of line.
Batt contacts on both sides are copper. Well, maybe copper plated...lol...I'm not sanding mine to find out tho.

Well it looks like we have a winner ladies and gentlemen. So many of you having love for the Stingray it just seemed like a no brainer. I'm not sure who exactly makes this clone, but I fell in love with it. Its just gorgeous. It's also black and I'm kind of big on that. I'm going to pair it up with either a black or stainless steel Wotofo Lush. I really appreciate everyone's input and help concerning this.

End of Line.

Here's something completely off topic, if someone wants to give me a heads up. I've noticed that some members have little captions beneath their username. One poster who replied to this thread had something along the lines of... Mad, but harmless. I got a kick out of that, and wanted to add something to mine. I just can't seem to figure out how to do it.

It ran about $35. Not sure if that's a good deal or not, but it's worth it to me. I actually bought 2 of them. Do you happen to know who designed this mod? It's nice to hear something positive about it. Lets me know I made a good decision.

End of Line.

Originally, JD Tech. I have an Infinite clone. It was my first tube mech :). I paid about the same. Its worth it.

Just wondering: Why not a hybrid connection? {I have two SMPL's and they have been great for me} :)

Well, I guess it comes down to my wanting the option of being able to use a tank on it. I'm not sure if I ever would, I just want the option. Apparently the whole hybrid, sub ohm tank thing can be problematic.

.....As long as the positive pin protrudes on the atty, all is good with a hybrid mod. With my Kanger Subtank Mini, I took off .020" from the 510 threads to be sure it was safe. It has been 100% reliable and the form factor is tiny. Works for me. :)

Not correct.
Pin less mods like SMPLs are NOT hybrids. They have a hybrid "look", and can be sketchy with prebuilt coils.

True Hybrids do not have 510 threads and come with a dedicated atty.

You can't just slap a tank on a hybrid, as it won't attach.
They require a bit of knowledge to use but they are some of the safest mechanical mods.

The problems occur when new vapers slap prebuilt coils on mechanical mods which have no protection from the dangers of a short.
