I guess any 22mm rda will be good on the VTC - as long as the rda is good. I've been using a derringer clone with good results from Ni200 and Ti builds in temp control mode, both dual and single coils. I have had a little leakage around the base, but no major issues.

Also been using a vortice clone but I'm not impressed by the atty. I do have an aeolus clone coming and excited to try it out.

I also have vtc mini.. I have a lot of different tanks but since I have 4 kanger subtank mini's I've decided to just practice building on the RDA that comes in the kit. I got my first 3 rolls of wire last night 2/nickel and 1/titanium. Couldn't find anyone local with the SS wire yet but that one will probably be pretty difficult to shape being stainless is so rigid..idk... can't give much advise since i'm just beginning with building my own coils but I can say that I've probably had 20 fails on the 26 nickel I tried with last night. Went back today and got a roll of 24 stainless and it worked on my first try. I also have all the materials to rebuild attys for my Nautilus Triton.. haven't tried that one yet

i too have a sub tank mini but i have a v1, which the rba that came with it sucks. been meaning to pick up both the new rba section and a v2 mini (i want dual airflow) right now a uwell crown is my priority 1 for a new tank then rda and a sub tank mini v2. hopefully by then i'll have an ipv2 in my collection so all of this is kinda senseless. We shall see how it goes lol

Get whatever you want. Check out the Vector if you want top airflow, it's quality and about half the price of an Aeolus v2 if you look hard enough. Normally it's around $55-60.
The Vector RDA by VLS *
Something similar to that is the new style Wismec/JayBo Indestructable atty. The top cap on it is a comp cap for the vector actually. It's also $34.99 at vaporDNA.
But these are just two decently priced suggestions, any 22mm atty will be fine. It's all up to what you want out of your vape.

Well what are you looking for out of an atty? Can't go wrong with a Vector, and the new Indestructable atty looks promising. My only possible gripe I could see with it is only wanting to use top air and not being able to block off the single coil airflow holes.

nice suggestion, my ultimate goal is to have an rda and a tank, The reason why i say u well is because it's affordable and it works well from what i'm told. i'll probably settle for a tug rda for the same reason. Yes it sounds like i'm cheapin out here but it's a nice start until i make a decision on what i want. I like the subtank's just need to get the updated version. im sure newer stuff is going to come out but what i have in mind kind of cuts through the new trendy market bs. Let's face it all products i listed here have been on the market for at least 2 months or more, so it gave people a chance to really test them out and give a fair opinion. i was using a istick 30w with a v1 subtank mini was my old setup and i jumped the gun on it. So i'm being more discerning in what i want so i don't jump the gun again.

Getting a Tugboat is NOT cheaping out on an RDA. They're around $80-100 + more if you want to buy a slam cap, anarchist cap, or the new square cap.

The Vector has been on the market for a while now, and when JayBo Designs discontinued the Tobh atty, he started making the Indestructable atty. Both have been on the market for well over two months. The Indestructable atty that's out on the market now is different from the one Jaybo released on his own.

This is the original he released without Wismec.

And this^ is after he joined up with Wismec. However all of the new features (centerpost, upgraded top airflow comp cap),were available as a limited release as an upgrade to the original Indestructable atty & he also sold the top cap and a solid chamber with no AFC as a comp cap for the Vector & whatever other atties it fits.

Personally I think getting a tugboat as your first atty would be jumping the gun, they're not cheap. You could literally buy both RDA's I mentioned for the less than the price of a tug. They're not "hype" products, they're made by reputable companies and have been on the market for a while now.

will keep it in mind i know when it comes to rda's there is no easy way to keep the cost down. nither you go buy a good one or a discounted one. discounted for various reasons. you're the third person to advice to get a vector so more than likely thats what i'll get. I'll have to talk to some of my b&m's to see what they got. I'm not going to buy immediately and do my homework on it. i want this to last for more than a year before i upgrade again. I guess you could say i'm looking for good quality stuff that will last a while. Im very conflicted on which way(s) to go because there's so much on the market and i really don't want to be in the latest hype or craze that everyone and everyone is going to flock too and buy immediately.
