You completely missed the central requirement which is:

This is why the usb passtrough and the DRV were brought up.
An 18650 provari lasts me over 12 hours chain vaping.... and I WAS a 2.5 pack a day smoker. No wires to get tangled, broken, or wrapped up in things as a mail carrier is not just driving, he is also constantly moving. My 2.5 has been run over 4 times and fallen off my deck 36 ft up in the air, it still looks good and fires like a champ.
If pass through is something the OP is considering I would recommend wither the provari with pass through attachment or and MVP as it also has a rugged form and the Las through on both will immediately remove itself from the mod, in an event, that the device gets tangled keep falls while the mail carrier is working.

If something can go wrong it probably will, just the way I think, especially under what will obviously HEAVY usage, and the best mod for HEAVY usage is the provari, they've stood the test of time, and right now is the most economically advantageous time to get one, with the extension.

True....the smaller 18490s last eight hours chain vaping to the point of near nicotine sickness for me. Passthrough, while a nice option is probably not needed if the mailman carries the second battery in a small cheap plastic case in his pocket.

(sent from Mars, it's not as red as I imagined.)

I think what most of you are missing out on is a mail truck doesn't have a receptacle in it for the passthrough to run on.... At least the ones here stateside don't.... There's not a device out there that can handle the punishment a REO can....hands down.... I would highly doubt a Provari could withstand a vehicle running it over and survive...

I've run over mine 4 time's with my car, and countless times with the wheelchair, And dropped it off the deck of my hunting camp which thanks to the building codes after Katrina is 36 ft in the air.
Me being overly rough with things was the reason I got one.... I broke sooo many mods before, I got it.
I'm not trying to argue here, again, I love reo, it is a fantastic mod and a Great vape, but, as for indestructibility and power management I'm gonna have to side on provari.
----Just my opinion

It's just a standard panel van so it does have a receptacle he can use to charge the batteries or for pass through (or lighting cigarettes). Not a custom made mail delivery vehicle (except for the logo on the side) like so many are used to. I think a 12 VDC receptacle (cigarette lighter) is essential in any vehicle. I use mine to run a small air compressor if I have a low tire and everyone has a cell phone that needs charging :)
