The 30w and 50w do the exact same job, with the exact same delivery, the only difference is that the 50 can go to 50w and with more battery power would last longer between charges.

The question is do you need more than 30w?

Most people don't, but if you're planning to go cloud chasing with sub ohm coils then you might.

I only hesitate to suggest the 50w so that you are more future proof because of the problems some have reported with the iStick 50w.

Seems 50w is pushing the iStick beyond it's comfort zone and many have failed, while some have exploded!

Perhaps an alternative 50w+ vv/ww device is the best solution for you.

I have an istick 50w and really like it. I use it as my all day with a Nautilus tank. I own rdas for play. All things considered, dripping will go through juice quickly. Sub ohm tanks not so much. The best of both worlds for me was a Subtank mini. If you don't like refilling, go with the Subtank Plus. You can buy coils for this or rebuild as you see fit.

+1 on the Cthulhu and Sigelei mods. I have a 150 that I'm really happy with and at 150 I can blow some nice, big clouds. While I have no experience, I've heard at my B&M that the Herakles and the Arctic were good tanks for sub ohm tanks with pre-built coils. If you want the biggest clouds you could blow, though, you'll want a dripper. I'm really happy with my Mutation Xv4, so I would highly recommend it.

What didn't work right or didn't you like about them Roxy?

I too have 4 iStick 50 watts.

2 of the 4 periodically "auto fire" without my pressing the fire button. To stop this from happening I have to unscrew the atomizer/clearomizer/RTA/RDA. Needless to say, I detach the atomizer from the battery when I am NOT within arms reach of these mods.

These 2 batteries also gets very warm when charging. I often charge them in stages (giving them time to cool down) before resuming charging.

The problem ones were the first two I bought (in early March). Took about a month for the first problems to surface. I had already ordered the 3rd & 4th ones. Fortunately no problems with either of these two.

I think she's more talking about the one that 'exploded,' and the various issues with auto-firing and/or the button not working. I haven't experienced any of these and neither have any of the people at the vape shops up here (maybe it's the altitude?) . There's an entire thread now on 'Why we shouldn't recommend the iStick 50W.' :/ Personally, I love it!

I think we need to STOP recommending a Istick 50 | E-Cigarette Forum

Since I asked that question, I saw the older post where someone had one that actually exploded. Burned the crap out of his carpet and could have caught his bed on fire. He said that luckily he put it down to go to the bathroom or it would have exploded in his hand. Don't they have a warranty? I know most of us order online but Eleaf has a registry number on the packaging.

I am a casual vaper but still want to blow big clouds, what would you recommend? Eleaf istick 30w or 50w? Also which tank would you recommend for the 50w and 30?

Give us a bit more information please bcmmbc122333. What mod and atomizers do you vape now that you like best and at what watts do you like them? What difference do you want in your new vape experience compared to these? Do you rebuild?

Not true. Dripper used just as much I would say. But my subtank mini I swear I'm drinking the juice. I can kill like 2 ml in an hours time and I'm not even that heavy of a vaper

I vape between 12 to 18mg so if I chain vaped on a sub ohm tank I might die lol
I've been on 3 mg awhile but recently slipped and started smoking again so I'm going to have to raise my nic back up too. I may just start using a Nautilus again with 12 mg and sub 6 mg. Sucks because I went without a cigarette for almost 2 months. Don't even know why I started back
