Yeah not everybody has the coin to plop down on a provari so the disposable is their savior.

bought my first ProVari used, from someone who went all sub ohm ... still works exactly as my brand new ones.

if someone can afford to smoke ... they can afford a reliable used ProVari :vapor:

plus, there is less urgency for a backup.

i dont know, id be more worried about being homeless, hungry, and cold than worrying about getting cancer from cigarettes I cant afford.
OK, English is a second language for me. "To live hand to mouth" I understand as "to have low income", "inability to buy extra things", but not to be homeless, hungry and cold. Am I wrong?

And by the way, I see in America that people even on social security assistance frequent McDonald's, and it is not a cheap way to buy food.

actually it is pretty cheap and convenient to buy mcdonalds/fast food. thats why america is fat. even at a thrift grocery store, buying the meat, the ketchup, pickles etc to make a burger, + the electricity utensils and time to cook it, will cost you more since you have to buy bulk, they wont let you just buy 1 ketchup packet or 2 pickles or one slice of cheese, or enough to make 1 burger patty.

to live hand to mouth is to have enough money to live and nothing extra. So technically, someone living hand to mouth has no necessity or income to afford cigarettes or vaping gear, as both are unecessary for living. either one would be terrible for them to do as they do not have the means to support it, hence why they need to worry more about living and food/shelter etc and not worry about smoking/vaping (they have bigger problems).

Poor people in America indulge more in the little luxuries. Nicotine addictions, cheap fast food. Cheap food really. Source: former super poor person.

Fun story. I have a coworker whose spouse started working at mcdonalds a while back. They got half off food from the restaurant, literally cheaper than groceries. they paid for it in health costs, but it wasn't expensive at all.

With all of the recommendations not to buy the iStick 50W, how can one know what company to trust? I have even heard of an $800 device (not Eleaf) fail. People can't just buy new devices all the time because of bad reports. That would empty your wallet very quickly. Makes one wonder if they shouldn't just go to gum or patch.

I'm still new to vaping.
Ego and Evods. None I know of blown up recently.

If you went out and bought a $200+ mod and $100+ atty that were 3yrs tried and true tested, ignoring all the current innovation of that day as a beginner and hit the jackpot? ...then kudos to you. You are a rare breed indeed. But I'm willing to bet that you had some failure, "toss away" purchases as well.

actually no, I started with a Blu kit (still works as new, and I still have 2 boxes of carts) ... then I bought an eVic (still works as new and I still keep an IBTank on it) ... then I was reading reviews on the Provari, and thought, this many happy vapers must be onto something ... therefore, I bought that used one from a guy who went all sub ohm and bought a used authentic Kayfun Lite for it (so yeah, I hit the jackpot).

Must be nice to have never bought anything that didn't work or you didn't like. Like I said... you are a rare breed.

In reality, I did get lucky ... instead of listening to the folks flaming the Provari users ... I took a chance on why everyone was so happy with them.

So yeah, I wish I had of skipped the Blu kit and the eVic ... and just bought the used Provari first ... it would have saved me from wasting $160 on stuff I don't use.
