First, I'll describe my setup. I've got a sigelei #8 with an Aw imr 18650 1600mah battery, and an AgaT+ (heard it called an AgaT2 also) with a stainless mesh wick and flat ribbon wire. I currently only have the one battery and am looking at getting more.
My questions are ; 1.what brands are recommended? 2. do the mah really matter (what do they do, simple amount of storage or discharge rate)? 3.What do you think of this brand? TWO PROTECTED 3100mAh 18650 (Industrial NCR18650A Panasonic Cell inside) Li-ion Rechargeable Orbtronic Battery Cells- DUAL Protection, Button Top, PCB- High Performance:Amazon:Electronics I know it's more of a flashlight battery, but will it work, or go with ol' reliable? thanks, I would real put appreciate any help!

The higher the mah (MilliAmp Hours), the higher the capacity and the longer the battery will last between charges. I believe the Panasonic 3400mah is the highest available now and is a very good battery. I use these batteries in a Sig #8 and a Vmod XL $18.62 Panasonic NCR18650B Protected Rechargeable 3400mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries 2-pack - authentic cells / 2-pack / overcharge + over-discharge protection at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping I also have this charger $22.16 Nitecore I4 Lithium Li-ion Ni-MH Ni-Cd Smart Battery Charger - with car cigarette power adapter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping and am very happy with the batteries and the charger. That charger also charges Nicd and Nimh batteries. I've ordered from them a few times, shipping takes about 10-14 days to the east coast. Use code "CPaste13Spring" for 5% discount.

Actually not necessarily true... You would think that, but it all depends what APV and setup you are using. A Li-Mn or safer chemistry battery as they are known, will last longer in a higher amperage setup than a Li-ion battery.
