Hey guys just wanted some opinions on configuration for a Youde AGA-TD dual coil setup...I am fairly new to dual coils but I am currently running this with two SS mesh wicks, each equipped with a 2 ohm 32g kanthal coil so it reads about 1 ohm on the meter. I am running it on a Youde V10 mechanical with a single Efest 18350 IMR battery and it works but seems to be underperforming. Any other recommendations as far as wraps/gauge/ohms? I have 32g and 28g kanthal at the moment.

What is the maximum continuous current rating of that Efest 18350?

What is the voltage across the paralleled coils (positive terminal to a negative terminal) when you fire it?

You are drawing Voltage/Resistance = Current when firing it. How does that compare to your battery rating?

Voltage at full charge (typically 4.2V) minus measured voltage under load = Voltage Drop of the battery, mod, and atomizer.

I have a UD AGA-TD and it came w/ a single air hole setting; unlike the one Todd reviewed. Maybe UD watches reviews because they tend to correct complaints.

I already have a few dual coil cloud makers so I set my AGA-TD up in single coil mode. 3/32" ID, twisted 30 GA, 1.0 ohm. coil 1 to 2 mm from air hole. It vapes nice w/ 18650.

For 18350 I prefer 1.2 ohm coil. Decent batt life and nice vapor quality.

I got mine this past weekend. One of my buddies at the local shop built it with ss cable and ecowool. I had trouble inconsistant vapor and a bad taste. So this evening I rebuilt it with two 2mm (7 wraps of 28 ga kanthal) vertical coils at .75 ohms. Then I wicked it with 100% cotton yarn through the coil and hole into the tank. Put it on my Magneto with an 18650. Flavor is much great and tons of vapor.

Just my two cents.
