Newport smoker for 20 years myself & I had a hard time finding a menthol juice I really liked. Smoke-Evolution.com sells a juice called CoolPort that is in my opinion the closest thing to a actual menthol cigarette.

Thats what I got now! bought it at the B&M I got my starter kit at.Ive been vaping that for about a week now, IMO its not BAD, not GREAT either, still looking..

Hangsen makes what many believe is the best tobacco flavored eliquids. I would give them a shot. Caterpillar Vapes has a full line of Hangsen flavors and their customer service is outstanding. Shipping is only $2.99:

Hangsen E-Cigarette E-Liquid

Agree'd. I buy all my juice from CaterpillarVapes. $7.19 for a 30ml bottle. Hangsen juice is pretty good. And as said, some of the best CS I've ever seen. Their $3 shipping gets the product to your door in 2-3 days.

All this info and suggestions might be bit of an overload but I ran across your thread and felt compelled to put in my 2 cents. A little background: I've smoked menthol cigarettes since I was 15 yrs old (Newports first, then Marlboro Menthols) - 23 yrs later I am finally cigarette free (last cigarette on 9/14/13)! Unlike many here on ECF, I am not interested in fruity/ sweet/ dessert-flavored juices - only a straight-forward smokey tobacco would do to replace my beloved Marlboros! I tried vaping back in 2010, however, after countless hours of research and spending a small fortune experimenting, I could not find what I was looking for - all the tobacco flavored juices were too sweet or just plain nasty. So it was back to my menthol cigarettes until this year when I decided that it was really time to quit.

Again I spent lots of time researching/ lurking on ECF and reading customer reviews on various sites - one thing was clear, if I was going to find the right juice it was going to be a NET (naturally extracted tobacco) juice. After a couple of fails I found London Blend sold by want2vape - it did the trick. I agree with other posters, you could search forever and never find a perfect cigarette-a-like, however, you can find a juice that satisfies nonetheless. London Blend is an extraction of pipe tobacco, which may not sound like what you are looking for but believe me, it is the most straight-forward smokey tobacco flavor I have found. Add menthol drops and voilà - hits the spot. No caramel/ vanilla/ sweet undertones...just smoke. London Blend vape and a cup of coffee during my morning commute feels just like the good old days! It is a bit pricey ($20 for 30ml), but well worth it in my opinion.

Sorry for the long-winded reply but if I can save you or anyone with similar tastes from any of the frustration I went through then worth it. Hope you find your perfect vape!

THANKS! thats exactly what I was looking for , a vendor that sells juices from various different makers, so I can try a few out without placing multiple orders on multiple different sites...

No problem Brotha...

OK so now youve opened up another question, Ive read a little about PG and VG, and I kinda know what they are, but I cant say I know why I would want a higher % of one over the other, Ive also seen stuff thats 100%VG, dont know why I would/wouldnt want that either....

Please, enlighten me.

Great Dog BTW.

Custom percentage blends are mostly just preference... Some people have Propylene Glycol(PG) sensitivity, they need high Vegetable Glycerin (VG) percentage over 75% to reduce the irritation. Nearly everybody starting out will get itchy, sore throat from the PG along with some shortness of breath after a marathon of chain-vaping to satisfy the nic craving. It's normal, and all the symptoms go away after a break from vaping. Higher VG is smoother, slightly sweeter, increase in vapor production but a reduction in Throat Hit (TH).

I noticed Hoosier sells Dekang... Thats chinese right? Is it safe to buy Chinese? Ive heard people say its probably not a good idea...

In the early days of vaping, some of the juices coming out of China were, should I say... "Suspect". There were obvious questions about the quality of ingredients and cleanliness of the facilities they were being made/mixed at... after all, they were the same country that gave us melamine in our baby formula and dog food at about the same time.

It doesn't seem to be much of an issue these days, especially with the more well known companies like Dekang, but don't take my word for it... just what I've read in discussion.

I personally stick with US vendors extracting their own Tobacco's (NET) using USP ingredients (usually made in China, but tested by the FDA I believe).
*although don't get me started with the FDA...*

The only people who say that are just plain prejudice, unfortunately. There have been no reported incidents with Chinese eliquid. And more sickness and death have been attributed to US consumable manufacturing, unfortunately. Also remember that many US eliquid is made in someone's basement, garage and bathroom. Put that picture in your head and think twice. The Chinese invented vaping. 90% of all eliquid consumed worldwide is from China. The largest Chinese eliquid manufacturers have some of the most sterile facilities in the world.

Menthol tobacco is one of those flavors that is hard to reproduce accurately in juice. Someone mentioned Madvapes Minthol above and I agree that it's a really nice mint vape. I always describe it to be just like a Lifesavers Cryst-O-Mint and that's good to me. Others can tend toward a mothball flavor or an ice mint flavor that freezes your mouth. You will find everything in between and might want to listen more to people who say they smoked Newport and like a particular vendors menthol.

It's hard to reproduce the taste of tiny ash particles laden with nicotine in a liquid that results in a water vapor laden with artificial flavorings. It's kind of like looking for Coca-Cola without the sugar that tastes just like the original. None are the same as that sugary drink unless they have sugar in the mix.

You'd think that with all the spectroscopic tech we have these days, someone could analyze the components of Marlboro smoke and tweak a vape that approximated it. Hasn't happened, but we have all sorts of vendors who get close enough.

Yknow, Everytime Im in a shop, and im looking at juices, im always asking where they come from

(just last night i was in 2 different shops in the village {NYC}, and one had some chinese juice and the other had Revolution-Vapor, made in NY, USA, so I bought the Revolution, even told the guy in the other shop that I just dont trust stuff made in China, he said to me "Isnt everything made in China?!?!")

I never think about what you just said. And I should, thats a very good point.

I'm not interested in reading unsubstantiated safety comments about any eliquid especially based on where it is produced. I don't like "blanket" statements based on country of origin. It's ignorant. If there are substantiated safety issues pertaining to a particular eliquid, I would want to know about it and want to avoid it. Which country it was produced in should be irrelevant. There will be good and possibly not so good suppliers in every country. Some of the most popular eliquids used come from China, where vaping was invented.

Good luck with your quest. I would consider Hangsen, as their specialty does appear to be tobacco flavored eliquid.
