An article in this morning's paper reported on a CDC finding:

"The rate of smoking among adults in the U.S. fell to 15 percent last year, the biggest one year decline in more then 20 years, according to a new government report."

The article goes into some detail on prior changes, but then ends with:

"The CDC is reporting the new statistic today. Why the rate fell so much in 2015 - and whether it will fall as fast again - is not clear."

I am no genius or expert, but is it really that difficult to recognize a possible, if not major contributor to that decline is the increase in vaping (dang, had to change it from vaping explosion......reason is obvious)? It will be interesting to see if they ever publicly make that connection since doing so might soften and/or hinder FDA's charges against and regulation of vaping.
