Recycling 18650s

There gonna go to my little recycle battery bucket at the supermarket. I can't find my electrical tape. Is it cool to just put some cellotape on the +/- contacts and throw them in?

I wrap the entire battery in plastic wrap before dropping it in the Home Depot battery recycle bin.

Cellophane tape would come off too easily. Wrap it up in plastic wrap, or some other material to keep them from shorting out in the recycle bin.
