Moderators, please feel free to move this thread if I posted it in the wrong place. Being a relative noob here, I'm not quite sure what sub-forum, if any, it belongs in, so I apologize in advance.

But anyway, my question: I'm big into recycling, and I haven't owned any of my gear long enough to have had a single battery die, not even the cigalikes, after 7 months. I guess I've been lucky. But, just curious, I googled local recycling centers, and saw that Radio Shack accepts batteries for recycling. I called the closest one (it's just 3 or 4 miles from my house), and asked if they accepted e-cig batteries of any kind. The guy said he honestly didn't know, and that he had never even seen anyone bring something like that in. I guess I could be accused of being lazy, for not calling another store, but I just don't feel like hunting another one down in a part of town I'm unfamiliar with. Does anyone know of any well known retail chain that does accept things like eGo batteries, or the cigalikes when that day finally comes?

My best buy has a bin for Li-ion batteries (cell and laptop batteries). I haven't had one die yet but I plan to leave it there. I figure its a li-ion battery and if they don't take/want them they can dispose of it. If you have a "Batteries Plus" store that would be another place to try.
But again I have yet to have one die. I'm sure someone will be along soon that has experience with this. Good thread!
