Red Robin "Policy" (??)

One of my customers just came in to say that at the Red Robin where she works, the manager went to a table of vapers and told them that their order had been changed to "togo" and that they had to pay and leave. (Obviously, they refused and stormed out). This APPARENTLY is Red Robin policy (though I'm going to see about confirming that). But this sounds like a really nasty public experience to me! And I don't think I'll be going to Red Robin except to spend this gift card I have.

Also, she said that another waitress had told them it was okay so that makes it doubly bad that they were just tossed without a warning.

Bull...., Red Robin. That place seems like it'd be the biggest smokers lounge if it was legal. =.= Anything for them to be popular I guess... Never set foot in one, never will now. Unless I feel like trolling IRL.

I vape in walmart, target, and most department stores with not much hesitation, but when in restaurants, I try to keep it somewhat stealth. I hope that in the future some greater degree of acceptance from the general public will come to pass

I probably won't go to a Red Robin now. Never have been to one. To be fair, I do try to vape only where smoking is allowed. Maybe, in the future, things will change.

Another reason to avoid Red Robin. The first being that although they always ask how you want your burger, and I always say well done, I always get a less than medium burger.

Uh oh, I am curious. What happened in Barnes & Noble? I go to my (somewhat) local one all the time. I haven't yet tried vaping there.

Doesn't change the fact that they serve me raw burgers when I ask for well done, but at least they are progressive.
