Reduced flavor and increased TH with protank mini 3

The title pretty much says it all, I switched to a protank a couple days ago from the stock clearo that came with my vision spinner kit (smoktech ARO I think) and after about a day of using it, I noticed a serious drop in flavor, and much harder throat hit than when I first got it. The flavor doesn't taste different or burnt, just less. I don't really mind the extra TH but I do mind the drop in flavor, any idea why could be causing this? I've been using my local shop's blackberry punch in 18 mg in both.

Edit:I forgot to mention, the vapor production is about the same.

If it is a darker liquid, could be clogging up the coil. Maybe rinse it out in some hot water, let it dry and try again.

It's a clear liquid, I'll try cleaning it anyway though.

Cleaning may have helped a bit, not much though, should I try switching flavors for a while?
