Refilling Cartomizers: Condom Method versus Popping the cap off and filling it by the sides.

I don't use the plastic cap or, for that matter, a drip tip-- just vape open-ended. (I guess if we were talking about attys, this would be called "tailpiping.") This makes topping off that much easier.

Im not sure what ecig model you're using, but yes its called tailpiping. One good mouthful of juice and you'll probably stop doing that LOL! But hey, whatever works for you.

Been doing it a couple mos. Really not too bad a problem, even at 5V, once I learned to let it sizzle a sec or two before drawing, draw slowly/lightly, and be sure to blot any juice that hasn't soaked in after a refill.

my first vape stick was a KR808, I condom fill the cartos for that and love it, no fuss just fill a few fer my pocket and I go... SO when I ordered my eGo, I thought "hey, I like cartos, quick easy and relativly painless" so I also ordered Boge Cartos for my eGo... I cant fill these things for the life of me... condom method makes the juice come out the other end almost instanly, and dripping... well I drip and the juice just sits on the top of the filler untill I spin it, is a HUGE pain in the ... to fill these Boge cartos.
... and to top it off, my KR8 kicks the snot out of my eGo as far as vapor production and taste, proper amount of heat etc... no matter if I use the cartos on it or the big cone atty and carts... so far KR8 is winning hands down, and thats a shame, cuz my eGo is WAY cooler... it just sux. I must be doing something wrong.

Well, if you're doing something wrong I am too. I really wish the eGo would just perform better!!!

Sort of a newbie but its not like ecigs are rocket surgery. IMO condom filling is horribly messy and a total waste of ejuice. Not too difficult or time consuming to pop off the cap and drop 20 drops in.

this is what I do. 2 drops, turn 1/3 turn, 2 more drops, ect... delay between drops as long as it takes for the juice to soak in. when it stops soaking in, throw the driptip on and take some draws so it doesn't leak out the battery end (Usually 3-4 draws, so long as it isn't making a gurgling sound)
