about two weeks ago I ordered some e-liquid and 20 empty cartridges from e-cig.com. My plan was to completely shift from buying prefilled cartridges to filling blank ones with the e-liquid of my choice. At first things seemed to go well. The cartridges were quite easy to fill. Then several days ago I noticed that a newly filled cartridge that I was using was not producing much vapor. To make a long story short I discovered that once the foam in the cartridge has been refilled twice it starts to loose some of its elasticity, and it begins to receed into the cartridge. This causes it to make poor contact with the head of the atomizer -hence the reduction in vapor. After some experimentation I found that by using tweezers I could gently stretch the foam out of its cartridge and gently repack it which helped a little. I think I'm going to order a whole boat load of the carts. from e-cig and then just fill them once or twice and ditch them. With a bulk discount you can get 500 carts for approx. $33 CAN.
Does anyone else have any cartridge refilling experences they would like to share?
