Ok, so I'm using a stock joye 510 (no HV, no LR attys), using a double folded frayed ptb filler. I fill the cart till it's a few drop from the top and slowly but the ptb in till pushed down all the way and fulling saturated. I had only minor flooding issues, didn't even have to blow the atty out, just wipe the threads out and it hit just fine. I don't consider myself a heavy vaper compared to the descriptions some have given on this forum and normally wait for the atty to cool down in between hits, yet I've blown thru a cart in less then an hour and I don't understand how. I checked the ptb and it's almost dry and there isn't any pooling at the bottom of the cart so I know that I'm actually vaping the juice and it isn't being wasted (aside from the minor flooding I mentioned before). I've seen people say that they can vape rather heavily for an hour or more on a single cart and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Do I really vape that hard or is there something I'm missing?

I can go thru a cart in less than an hour - if the juice is nice and you enjoy it you likely vape more. Remember its just nic + flavors + carrier medium (PG/VG) so it may be your nic strength is too low n youre guzzling it down to get that 'satisfied' feeling. Also nic from liquid via the mouth is a slow drip into your bloodstream whereas actual smoking hte burning tobacco to get nic is an almost instant hit to your brain (lungs are more efficient at carrying the nic).
If its worrying you then up your nic (unless youre at 36mg or something already high) and see if it makes a difference.

Well, I feel your pain. A cart does not last 1 hour for me but I use the stock poly. I am not sure how they do it for more than 1 hour unless they use cartos ? Never had one, I don't like the idea for now.
I think what you get from it is ok right now, I am interested in a solution to this too.

Sounds about right, I can go through a cart in 20mins if I'm vaping hard, If you have a cart that is lasting nearly a full hour than that is a good thing IMO, I wish my carts lasted that long. 
A cart lasts me about 10 minutes or so on a 510. The blue filler material helped a lot, I can cape on a cart with bue filler about 20 minutes.
I am not sure but I think the 510 carts may be smaller than other models. The mega atomizer/cart may help as it holds more juice.

Perhaps i should admit now that Ive burned thru some carts (back when i used those things lol) inside 10 mins? LOL
An hour on one cart? Never been able to do that in nine months. Maybe 40 minutes, tops.
Don't worry it's slowly but surely getting less time till empty, lol. I'm not really worried about it at all, though I may try upping to a 16mg and see what happens. It just tastes so good I guess I stop paying attention and keep vaping away, guess it's a good thing I have another 40ml on the way
.I was really just curious cause of some of the posts I've seen saying that they get two hours on a cart with "heavy" usage...guess their heavy is my light. And on that note I need to refill....again, lol.

Well, if they get 1 hour of heavy vaping I do not know why Janty is bothering with the new filter that lasts 20 mins at continuous vaping.
I have the 510 also and my carts never last that long, though I'm constantly vaping it. I do take a couple of hits and then let it cool down before vaping again. But one cart has never last me an hour, I'm always refilling mine too. So don't worry it's normal.
Yup, mine doesn't last long at all. Using polyfill I can't even use the whole cart as I can never get it to wick dry.
me too. even with the blue foam, i had to be constantly refilling. I'm using 510 cartomizers right now and really loving them (except for the flavor, which is yuck!)
what I mean by that is that I should have got empty ones. the flavor they came pre-filled with is gross, so I have to vape through it and refill with my own flavor. And THEN I'm loving it.
I vape like a chimney. I notice there are times it seems to last for an hour and other's where it goes more quickly..try this 'cart mod'
Take a cart with some stock polyfill in there. Take a sharp pair of scissors and cut it into fourths. Fill up the cart with liquid. I find I can get anywhere from 10-13 drops in there. Then, tuck the little 'plug' of polyfill on the top and give THAT another few drops until it's wet..from the TOP. Give the atty a few drops and you're off!
It DOES work, I don't know HOW it works without flooding the atty, but it does!!

that's pretty much how i do it with my blue foam too. I didn't know it would work with the stock poly, though!
