I was going to clean out some pre-filleds I have sitting at home, and wouldn't it be quite a bit easier to soak it in Everclear for a day or two (And push the liquid through with a syringe as well) then let it dry for a day or two?

I don't have the issue with the build-up on the coil or any of that, just want to get rid of all the leftover juice and flavor associated with it.

I never let any of my cartomizers get anywhere near dry however... I switch carto's and flavors constantly, never use one for more than 2 hours with moderate vaping. And before I use any of my cartomizers, I refill them by letting them soak up the juice overnight (Or at least 4 hours or so) with a condom. The polyfill is literally still soaking wet!

Hopefully I won't have too much trouble getting them to work again!

I've found that taking some cheap vodka and drawing it in via the syringe method helps to quicken the drying process. Before that I let them sit for 24 hours (after blowing out any additional water or vodka with muh pie hole) and could vape them afterwards. When I use vodka I can pretty much use them whenever I want.

Wow I did not know you need to let these things out for days to dry. What about after you fill them should they sit there for a day or two, that is a lot of waiting haha. The taste of flavors I got seem fine. I have a syringe I just probably need to find a pencil grip or something to attach the cartomizer. I'm afraid I made it worse by boiling them.

The syringe method is the best. I just found one at Walmart for $1.70. I usually heat water up in the microwave until its really hot and let the prefilled cartos sit in it. After that I just hook up the syringe and suck up the hot water and and blow it out. You should also blow some air out with the syringe, not so fast because you can break the syringe.

After that if I have no cartos left I like to but them in the oven at a moderate temp for about 20 minutes. Usually they are dry enough then, but if I have cartos that are usable I will let the cleaned ones sit for a day after I take them out the oven.

You can notice to throw them out after the filament becomes all garbled and thin, or it just seems clogged.
