I'm talking about how low do you let the liquid run down? Do I wait until it's completely empty or jst by the 2 little holes on the coil ?
Almost completely empty. You just don't want to let the wicking inside to go completely dry, then you would get a burnt taste. Most tanks work better if you wait til it's almost empty before filling, because they can leak if you open them with a good amount of juice in them. Not all. If you ever do get leaking, or spitting from mouthpiece, or hear a gurgling noise when you hit it, you soak it up with paper towel or tissue, twist it up and stick it in mouthpiece to sop up juice and or hold paper towel around air flow holes and blow into mouthpiece pushing extra juice out.

Anytime before a dry hit, honestly. If you start to notice a drop off of vapor production, that may be the time to look down at your tank.

I find in most of my tanks, by the time I am about 3/4 empty, I want to refill, as it doesn't vape as well (in my personal opinion) and I do not like the idea of the Dry Hit even slightly. Etc.

Word, Just wait till you get a dry hit, That way you dont have to refill it every time it gets half way down. SEE if you fill it at half way then you have to fill 2 TIMES when if you wait till it gets to the bottom you only have to fill 1 Time.

Yes Im lazy.

If you get a dry spot before it reaches the bottom. Take out a SHARPIE and draw a line where you get the dry hit on the tank. Then YOU KNOW, well, now YOU KNOW.

Welcome to the forum of leisurely filling.

@VapePro you must really hate refilling. Two things I will never do a) sit around and wait for a dry hit to make sure I refill as little as possible b) draw in sharpie on any of my tanks especially to mark dry hit land.

I accidentally turned up my Proton yesterday from 16 watts to 160. IDK what I did, but I'm never doing it again.

Also you can get the sort of dry hit where it doesn't kill your coil, your wick, and all the juice you had in your tank, if you are lucky. This was not THAT type of dry hit, I had to immediately break down the tank and redo everything LOL.

Exciting! In a bad, bad way. I'll fill a couple mm early to avoid one. Etc.

I had that happen a while back. My Rayon wick burned in two in the time that it took to let go of the fire button! Yuuck!
