Since starting e-smoking, I feel that Im viewing nicotine differently and being made more aware of its effects.. removing most of the gunk and just getting the nicotine, lets me see more what my addiction the the chemical is like..

I feel that setting of dopemene all day isnt the best idea.. its a reward chemical and sitting doing feck all giving yourself rewards doesnt seem to motivtate me to do things I shoud be doing. I wake up feeling quite charged in the morning ready to do activity and after a good session of puffing nicotine my head feels a bit fuzzy and I cant be assed doing as much...

To me nicotine is a chemical reliance that could hold people back to a degree... I dont think e-cigarettes should be "GLAMORISED", I feel some people glamorise them here, like there real trick new "TOYS"...

Personally I hope I can use the e-cigarettes to be "FREE" from the constant need to inhale nicotine fumes into my lungs..

Anyways whats your views on our good old friend NICO TINE, has changing the way you smoke altered your perception of your addiction ?

its not changed much for me... i gave up ideas about losing my nicotine dependency year ago.. e smoking is simply what i consider a safer way for me to feed my habit.. its not for fun.. i would have done it years ago if such things were around back then but as they were not i could not..

this is just me.. others will have different reasons for what they do..

I think you are doing exactly the right thing, 20ADay. Several others who post on this forum are happily traveling the same route to a nicotine-free existence.. Nicotine is the friend of few -- and they often have mental problems corrected by use of nicotine as a drug. See the Health section for many threads on nicotine ...

Thanks for the encouragement Bob, you seem a rather sound character and your correct I dont view nicotine as a friend, Im to aware of how addicted Im an to it and that though it can feel good when used with on the odd occasion, that Im incapable of using at such.. but most smokers are the same :) I rarley meet a smoker that can control there use when and where they wish..
