Regarding E2 V4 "final" cartomizer insert holes for needle

Can anyone tell me if the "final" version of the E2 V4 uses that little rubber part to insert liquid or is that made of ceramic also ? It will suck for me if the "finals" have that rubbery cup piece. The vape out of the ones i have are awesome but the taste of silicon is nasty. The only way I can enjoy vaping is without that cap, o ring & rubber mouth piece & just use a stainless steel drip tip on it & not be able to lay it on its side.

I haven't experienced any silicone flavor with mine but V4's will continue to use the the rubber filler cap. In the big CE2 thread over in the carto forum someone contacted them the only future changes planned are to lengthen the wicks. I don't think I'd want them to replace the rubber filler cap it would make modding them harder lol.

Looks like i'll be visiting a jeweler & have them make a mold of that rubber piece & create a gold cap the same size with those holes. That should do the trick.

still have the ceramic cup, but the silicon filler plug is still there, unfortunately, and those darn tiny lil holes that the blue plastic needle doesnt fit down into
