Here's an article that was posted on another thread and a quote from it. The article is a pretty good read.
Inside the world of vapers, the subculture that might save smokers' lives

"“You’re not downgrading from a cigarette. You’re getting something more,” says Chris Mikovits, who co-owns e-cig retailer CherryVape with his business partner, Cheryl Richter. Well known in the world of vaping, Mikovitz used his skills as a carpenter to create the most copied “drip tip” – the piece you put your lips on when vaping an e-cig – on the market."

Maybe the "most copied" drip tip, but that's about their specific designs, not the original creation of the drip tip.

I have a drip tip question...I find that 3/4 of my drip tips don't fit the disposable attys I got from GeJ. Are attys, let's say all 510 attys, not the same circumference? And the same with all 306's, etc? I find this odd if there is not a standard. I get there will be miniscule variances between manufacturers, but enough that some tips fit and some won't? I got the jester drip tips from AiV, psyched to use them, and they don't fit the attys either.

P.S. Are there certain types of drip tips that are specific to 510's, 306's, etc? Like delrin?

I just got a couple of 306s from cloud 9.

I can only tell you about the one I am dripping on now.

Excellent +++ - really good! :)

Interesting. I picked one up when they were on sale for £0.99 or something ridiculous like that. Only got around to trying it the other day. Horrible little thing it was! Perhaps I just got a dud, though. Was going to stear well clear, but I'll give 'em one more try in my next order on the strength of your review!

EDIT: Was it the C9V 306 or the Joye 306 you picked up, e-pipeman?

Which is the culprit? Dunno. I have drip tips (though I only use one) that fit just about any 510, and other drip tips that will only fit some 510s. Luckily drip tips are cheap. Where did you get your DT from. Link please?

These are the drip tips that don't fit. They also don't fit other 510 attys I have from other vendors:

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1375800

https://vapeland.org/product/jester-driptip/

https://vapeland.org/product/joker-shorty-driptip/

https://vapeland.org/product/bunny-love-driptip/

This is the only drip tip that fits them all - but I hate metallic finishes:

Metallic Derlin 510 Drip Tip

I guess you just have to keep buying them until you find one that fits.

I emailed GeJ and Nick said these fit his atty's:

510 / 901 Calabash Drip Tip [510/901-CLBSHDT] - $4.99 :

510 / 901 Transparent Drip Tip [510/901-TDT] - $2.99 :

You might want to look closely at the o-rings on the drip tips, they come in different thicknesses. I've switched them out between tips and had some luck with ones that were too tight for my attys. In one case, I removed the o-ring altogether.

Oh, I didn't think of that - thanks, I'll try it and see if it helps.

Where can I get o-ring replacements? Do they come in varying sizes?

Nevermind....I did not read your post thoroughly enough...you have already answered my questions :) Before coffee posting has its drawbacks.

OK so fess up. How many 510 attys has everyone hoarded from Digitalciggz? Like me? Make me feel better OK? Shiny, cute and oh so cheap it's hard to pass up their atty sales. Anyone tried the blue? What color blue is it?

How about you Mr. Mann? You are the one who turned me on to them! It's all your fault! ;)

Hope everyone has a wonderful dripping day!

uhh, do I really have to say? LOL. Maybe 100 or so. I have a few of the blue ones. I can show you a pic. Give me a few...

I have to be honest here--if it weren't for DigitalCiggz offering that deal (they started with it awhile ago, and it was approximately $10 for 5), I would have had to stop vaping. I have always loved Joyetech attys but paying $8-10 a pop wasn't going to cut it. Sure, some of the other sites have them for $35 or so for the 5 packs, but even still, that wasn't going to cut it. When I learned about this sale, I was effectively back in the game.

Now, because I am soooooo very stocked, I can venture out into the wilderness for other toys. Seeing as how all my liquid is at the average of 24 mg, I will use these atys for my stash I have now. If and when I go the RBA/mech route, I would have to get all new liquid as 24 mg would be too high for those boogers. Either which way, I am basically set now and could retire. That won't happen, but it's good knowing I have banked my current favorite JDS in a way that will likely not be depleted anytime before 2017-18 (if then). I usually use one atty for 3 weeks or so before saving in a back-up box. I may get 50 more (just to be safe) before saying I will never buy another disposable atty.

Authentic Joyetech atty + unauthorized seller = incredible deals! LOL. If anyone wants the false security of buying from an "authorized dealer" of simple but great disposable attys, ProVape has these same attys for $9 a piece...Man, what I use to pay for 5 attys I now get 25. Go figure. Some math is too simple.

These little things are by far my favorite vape. I drip every single day. I have a drip atty with me everywhere I go. And it was definitely an AHA! moment for me when I dripped my first drop. So yes I understand. I totally get it. I too was buying these for $7 and $8 bucks each until you told me about this sale. And it's funny you mention 3 weeks and then going into a box. I do the SAME exact thing! Well, you know, for the zombie apocalypse. ;) Hey you never know! :)

haha! Sometimes I think---it's still working great; I've gotten a few weeks of it, so put it away. I have a bag marked "perfect," "decent" and the bag marked "bunk" is the trash (I rarely have to throw them away). Lately, every one of the new attys I pull out has either been great or great. LOL

When I was ready to give up, I had purchased a few of these from "authorized dealers" and got more bunk ones than not. Buy the time shipping, return shipping, and another return shipping worked itself out, while also being without my fav JDS, my hands were thrown all the way up with the proverbial towel on its way in the ring. Enter DigitalCiggz.

Yo, Tommy! I didn't hear no bell!

I had a couple of them from other vendors that literally popped the first time I used them! Every single one so far from Digitalciggz has worked flawlessly. I bought 50 more in blue. I was able to use the discount code TWENTY for 20% off plus free shipping. My order came to $70 for 50 attys making them a mere $1.40 each. I call that a no brainer. Interesting though that they are now requiring adult signature for delivery so I had them delivered to the office.

Thanks again Mr. Mann!

Awesome! I meant to tell you to remember the discount code, but I should've known you would see it. Now it's my decision time. Do I re-up for another two years?:lol::lol: Well, 50 of my favorite attys for $70, or I could just get 3 HH-357s for $70+???? Hmm...well...yeah right!
