I'm with you both, although...
I broke my voe as a devout non-fiddler and have been working to find a rebuildable setup
Only a month in & not happy about it, haha. I have plenty of 901's & cartos to sustain me while I fiddle, hopefully I can come to terms with this. Totally agree! It's not difficult, for me, setting up a coil/wick, but overall it's just fiddly & annoying. Inconvenient as all hell. I just want to vape.
Like you both mentioned Mike & Cags, ya find something you like and try to stick with it but the quality starts to slip, shops stop carrying them or they flat out stop producing them. Brands like HH or IKV have brief windows of availability, feeling tethered to a computer stalking stock updates, I cant do that. Ugh, im coming off my third round of this struggle and just don't feel like going through this again in a year. Plus the possibility of legislation...i dunno anymore...
So many cliches being broken in vaping! If it ain't broke don't fix it. Can't build a better mouse trap. I may be a non-fiddler, but the chinese factories are obsessive fiddlers, haha.
Maybe the pendulum will swing back...ecigs started off as fiddly things with no other options. The drive back then was figuring out how to make these novelty items work for heavy smokers, as faff-free as possible. Then people got bored i guess and reintroduced fiddling, haha. Swing back baby!
