The BF version has slots around the bottom of the barrel, which allows it to easily drain when flooded. This is particularly good when using it on a Vmod, which it was designed for. However, I also use them for dripping, with a drip shield, which contains juice dripping through those slots and also tightens the draw a tad. I'd say if you're not using them on a bottom feeder, the universals are a better choice, but both are stoutly built, long-lasting and delicious. They're every bit the equal of Cisco Specs. Absolutely my favorite sub-$20 atties, and when Vapage has a half-price sale, they're the best bargain in vaping.
Hi Y! I'd love to give those universals a whirl, you know your atties. Please let us know when they have a 50% off sale, I'd go deep on your recommendation.
