The Vmod looks like a pretty nice product, except I hate the giant Vapage logo on the side of it. Yeah, that kind of thing matters to me.

I agree. You can always use my anti-slip technique and cover it with some grippy tape. I have a Provari in satin silver that was slippery, so bought a carbon fiber skin that sadly was even slipperier. Solution: a nice wrap with black plastic tape. Ugly but easily gripped. I know, I know -- that's what she said.

I just got home from a long 6 hour drive. I used carto's so I wouldn't have to drip'n'drive. Man am I glad to get back to my dripping rig, I really detest the way carto's ruin the flavor of my juices.

I know how you feel. BUT. . .I spent yesterday driving too and enjoyed carefree (inverted) dripping by alternating between two VMods filled with Smokin Cherries and Smooth Criminal. No leaks or spills + the usual great dripping flavor (one Vapage atty, one Empire) = one happy Cherry. The VMod XL, by the way, has a 9ml bottle, so no refills required either.

I found a vendor that makes a mod vv with screen runs on 2 18650 and has a six ml bottle for 129 with shipping. Bottom feed.

Suggestions for a first time dripper as far as atty purchase? ease of use, easy to clean and quality. How much life does an atty typically give you all and how is the best way to clean them when changing juice flavors. I had one a few weeks ago that a freind gave me to try juices on and I could never get a good taste from it after the first juice. I dry burned it and after that it was just burnt tasting. . Maybe I would try again if I could find a good quality dripper.
From what I gather drip a few drops and when it gets dry drip some more.
The one thing I am not sure of is having to take my drip tip off every time I want to drip. Hmmmm, decisions, decisions.

Did you rinse it out with water really well before you dry burned it?

I never take my drip tip off to drip, although apparently quite a few people do.
Sometimes I do get a little juice stuck in the bottom of the drip tip, and when that happens I blow it out or give it one good shake.

If you blow it out, you blow across the top of the tip like you were trying to make a Coke bottle whistle.
You will hear the sound change then the stuck juice has fallen through.

At some point you might want to pick up a glass drip tip though.
I have one and I have never had a drop get stuck in that one, even though it is a very small tip.

I remove my tip every time. I don't do anything special to change juices over I just keep dripping and the flavors change over after a bit. I'm using a joye 510 Cisco spec atty. I'm really new to all this so others here will have more insight, cheers.

From what I gather drip a few drops and when it gets dry drip some more.

Once thing to keep in mind is that a newly cleaned atomizer will need a lot more drops.
This seems to be because the mesh area below the coil can hold a few extra drops that I don't think get atomized.

The number of drops is entirely dependent on the particular atomizer, and the size of the drops from your bottle.
Some atomizers hold more juice, some hold less juice. Some bottles make bigger drops, some bottles make smaller drops.

I typically use 5-6 drops to fill a thoroughly cleaned and dried 510 atomizer.
But I typically use 3-4 drops to refill it when it starts to get dry.

On the other, hand my Halo come in a small needle-nose type bottle, and I use a lot more drops with those bottles.

When im changing juice flacors i blow out the atty from the connector end and drip a couple drops of my new juice. Wait. Blow again and wipe up and screw on and drip 3 drops or so and vape. This also helps keep it clean longer. When it come times to dry burn i do it as lightly as possible a little more often. I usually have 5 atomizers going on something so i tend to get started with cleaning things up and just do everything as needed. Ends up as a vaping session for sure. Remember, these are disposables and if i have to use a new one to get good clean taste im OK with that. Check the ohms on a atty tou have vaped hard on for awhile. When my joyetechs get up towards 5 ohms and they used to be 2.2 -ish i figure theyve had it or on the way out really soon.

The simplest way to start is with a 510 atty. Avidvaper (Cisco spec) and Empire make 510's that taste good right away, and don't require cleaning before use. Ikenvape are also supposed to be very good. Ahlusion sells a nice 510 too, although it's a couple dollars more than Empire's. If you get a sealed-bottom atty, it will prevent juice from dripping down into the connector of your mod.
