Tibs, I agree that Laura should be eligible. She participated during the time of her turning. But, that determination isn't as important to me as the bad feelings, confusion and pain that trying to figure it out is causing.

Tibs, the whole problem as I see it, is the person who is making the rule enforcement calls, that person has to be a Pre-vet committee member to have these contests work in conjuction with us...it really is that simple and so is the remedy.

That's not really what I meant. I don't agree with the decision. But it also seems that the fact that a decision has to be made is what leaves us open to this. Again. I would rather lose the avi party tie in than lose the whole thing.
as whis pointed out, there's probably nobody on the committee who'd have reached that same decision. if the person in charge is supposed to be representing us than something needs to be done.
