Yeah...but...but...but.... Meggers bought her dinner and fixed it.....for now. And new rules may resolve it permanently.... so why quit when we're having so much fun (with prevets).

atty, don't you understand that for some people it's impossible to overlook certain things????? you compromise as long as you can and then it comes to an end. tweety seems to have reached that point. and i wouldn't be surprised if there are more.

you have not gotten an answer yet to your pm i presume? j0ker could solve this problem in a jiffy but apparently is too busy.

Tibs, J0ker has said clearly that he is not at all concerned with eligibility rules--he left it to us. He said he didn't even know the rules. And couldn't care less. I haven't heard otherwise from him. This is not about J0ker.

I love you, Atty, and I understand how you feel. I hate it when people walk away--we've been through this before, with other members.

But this is not about personal things or hurt feeling--this is about principles. We had an agreement. I acted in good faith. I thought we all did. I cannot be a part of anything that can change overnight--just like that, because somebody feels like it. We either have an agreement or we don't. We either all adhere to it or we don't. We can't have endless discussions and tweaking and litigation... It's just not feasible, Atty.

I have no personal conflict with anybody here--nor do I want to have one. I just want us all to behave like adults and to honor our word to one another. Until this happens, I'll stay on the sidelines.

I agree 100% Kat, I have been trying to tell folks about that ALL DAY!!!!!!!!!! Then JJ got on after reading what "I" wrote back in response, which fired everyone up again, like she was throwing us a bone. I'm tired....

and as to common sense, that's the reason i never worried about exact wording. i know we will know if somebody has participated.
i was never in favor of the contest but accepted the fact it could be beneficial to us. it has not been. that's why i thought to bring up the question ''do we really want to be associated with the contest any longer?"

When J0ker answered, he quoted my post(which was no doubt pm'd to him by JJ), I think it ticked him off that I said no to next years contest involvement with PVT's...As far as I am concerned...JJ thinks she is in charge of deligating and determining who is eligable for the contests, and unless someone with authority reins her in, it will continue as it has...I have no fix...The staff here clearly does not like me.

I did receive a reply to my PM to j0ker. It was around the same time as j0ker's message here. And I was going to let you all know about it, so I went to this sub-forum, and .... saw THE posts. They made the "haven't gotten to it yet... busy in RW" reply meaningless. So apparently j0ker was not happy with what he read in the discussions and just said "heck with it".

I'm done folks. Not with PVT but with this contest. It has turned friends into enemies. It has turned normally nice people into nasty and childish. I want no more to do with it. If my vote is needed on anything please refer to Tib.
