IMO, it's really difficult to quantify "gets into the spirit of things" i get what Tibs means, but we have to be careful if we're basing bonus entries on something vague.
OTOH, i won't argue with however everyone wants to mark "the spirit of things" for the bonus round.

lance stopped by the day before he was gonna turn and disappeared before he answered atty's and starry's question concerning a theme. he never came back on his own but responded to pms sent as to his turning time.
with such little participation he is already entitled to the monthly drawings and the year-end grand prize drawing.

btw we need to remind thread starters to post the contest entry post right after they open the welcome thread.
btw whis, as lance's thread starter, would you send a pm to him telling him not to forget to put the link to his welcome thread in the contest thread?
we also need more eyes on the contest question thread. nothing much happens there but people do pop in with questions from time to time!

sorry but I have to voice this as we shouldn't have to babysit after the party is over, we do enough of that getting them there, IMO

i tried to convey my reasoning as to lance in the post above. our main point was to have everybody entitled for the grand prize drawing and we achieved that.
people who stop by or respond to our pms and make arrangements for an avi party ahead of time and then join in the fun will be rewarded with the chance of something a little extra!

i really believe lance stopped by last minute without knowing about the contest. why make him lose out?
we can give it a few days - i usually check who has and hasn't posted the link. we do get some people who are not aware of the contest. i know they should read their posts but still ...........
and some, like jag, are not interested in the contest
I will pm him....but it seems that we put that contest post in each thread as a reminder for them and that should be enough, No???

Just checking in and reading back to see if I need to no anything.
She is going to pass on the avatar party, but I'm going to open a welcome thread for her . I think i posted her response to my PM in the to be added thread the other day.
