I'm going to update the list as usual this morning...but please give me some language for going back to the old format for the next update.

I think before making any changes, let's continue on 'as is' for at least over the weekend. Meaning, maintaining the List and posting it. I've been, and probably will be, away from my desk here at work fairly often this past week.
I'll take over List duty tomorrow if tibs wants to take a step back from all this.
I don't mind staying on list duty, especially if you're not going to be around much over the weekend.
i'll rotate in as planned and feel the list should stay as is until the end of the year .....
OK, how about if we move the sentence:

hmmm..moving that might make it more clear... but then again, I'm ok with leaving it as is. Someone or other will miss it once in awhile no matter where it is.
that's why in the follow-up emails the point of eastern should be brought up in bold! 
Lets wait a couple of days to make any changes... i dunno about you all, but the one big change is enough for me right at the moment
atty - to me the pm to the prevet a few days ahead of the turning is our best tool to clarify! not all that many people look at the list in the proper way, imo.

if don leaves the thread up it won't help because there's nobody to edit
i'm now asking a big favor of catt - if we relieve you from the editor's rotation would you post the updated list on your website or can we, as editors, learn to switch it out? i did a trial run and it seemed easy enough. and ..... catt has been doing it which saved our heinies once before.
i just want it clarified before i switch out the public link in my sig

the best option seems to be using the external link and learning to switch out the list.
