CES already said that Tibby. I wanted a specific set. More focused/specific rather than idea generating. And limited in #. Everyone commenting on this can look at that and add their favorites.

i think we should only have th edefault list for own own information- to use in the case of "surprise me" when we can't get the individual to choose a theme that is meaningful to them. If we post it, i fear people will default to it without trying to come up with their own theme.
(and i for one will get really bored if that happens)

jk.Pick 5. BTW Nature overlaps with some and is very broad, but I like it.
My original though was like this: "Get the group to agree on 5 things we could use as surprise themes and rotate through them and/or assign them. Make them open enough to be gender neutral and broad enough to find pics, but specific enough that someone that just newly "pops in" to PVT could guess the theme after seeing a handful or two of pics.

Good point CESster. If someone says 'Surprise Me' or can't come up with one, we do the ol' random number generator on the list and that'll be it

You're on the spot. Pic an ASPECT of nature. Too broad... it overlaps with Tom's #3 and #4. Basically "Nature" is everything on planet earth...not man-made. so...
Either
A) we keep Nature, and lose the landscape/Aquatic stuff (maybe that's too specific)
B) we get more specific about "nature" so that it doesn't overlap the others.
Oh, and before the moaning starts... this can be a FUN exercise over the course of the next two days. So if you're groaning about it...fine... just don't type it cause I don't wanna know Those that want to contribute can.

Yeah, but it was your idea... so I wanted to keep it. We have Aquatic Life/Landscapes/Air-flight already....
Maybe there's an aspect of it that's more specific that I didn't include... like .... Majestic mountain views, or... river and streams, or ...??????

I know the danger here of having it be open and "all over the place". But I'd rather start with a very open set of ideas. We can throw out the whole sample I came up with if others have different ideas... it was just to get things started.
This is not to be "wishy washy" but rather to let everyone know that they have a voice in this. We just need to narrow it down as the process continues. If we just know that it is a process, will take the next two days, and get nailed down by the end that's OK.

i hope we can live with catt's decision in this case and won't get complaints about it. the welcome thread was opened by catt a minute after turning but catt kept alpha company in pvt during the turning ..................
if somebody should report it, our only explanation should be the absence of team members and so catt had to do it all by himself
