The "like" is to be taken as "I like the idea of Dusty posting a congrats to Fran". Not "I like it that it was deleted". In other words... he was complaining about likes. There's obviously likes on the post...mine and others. Many that were there before he did the "deleted" thing.

I don't think many people will think that the like is for "deleted".

What I didn't "like" was his snide post a few down from there. I also replied ...so my opinion is obvious. Also, I politely didn't answer his 1st question about "where to put his post".

not sure if we need to worry - there's still no time for mogi. classy has always been very prompt but she has started her new job. hoping that is the cause for the delay ..............

if we have lost classy's backing it's really gonna get tough


edit - glimmer of hope! classy did the thread markings yesterday morning!

She's getting used to a new FT job. I'm sure she still us and cares about the thread even if we do annoy her sometimes

not looking good - with just a little more than 12 hrs to go cookster's thread has 6 replies and that includes the contest entry post. worse than that, i looked at the posters and all the ones we can count on have posted.
i really have no idea what to do ............... sigh
unless from now on we break up our posts into 2 or 3 - that's got to be better than ending up with a thread with less than 10 entries - pitiful ...........

and one other thing - if a regular member would have posted in frannie's thread the way it was done that post would have been deleted in a hurry

Cookster won't get to her thread before 11:30 or 12 at the earliest, so we have a bit of time

The beach is a good idea, most people are vets that hang in there. I did that for Yabon's thread and it worked out well.
