If VV and 15 watts would do it for you there are crazy low clearance prices on ProVari's right now: Specials of the week

ProVari Regular & Mini Variable Voltage Ecig: Best Variable Voltage E Cig Available!

My first real mod was a Lavatube, it's three years old and still ticking but I did have to replace the 510 center pin insulator on it. It sits on my bench now for dry burning coils and checking builds. My every day mod is a ProVari mini running 18350's. I like the compactness and being a 7-9 watt vaper it does all that I need.

My wife is still using her nearly 2 year old Innokin SVD 2.0. They're really cheap now, and use the Evolv DNA20 chip so they go up to 20 watts and they're very reliable. You can get the starter kits which include the travel case and 18350 as well as 18650 tube pieces for around $30 if you look around.
