I want
1. best 510 compatible atomizer recommendations (including a supplier)
2. closest to dripping without the mess (Ego tank, mass manufactured box? other reliable product?)
the best i have had so far is a janty ego with janty atomizer and dripping but i want to know what's better, new, more solid since i last looked into this. More explanation to follow but if you want to chime in based on 1 and 2 that's the info i need.
I'm coming off about a 6 month relapse during which i went back to tobacco (Newport 100s) which was inspired by several stresses and the unfortunate simultaneous failure of several attys and a chronic frustration with burnt attys, burnt cartomizers, nasty juice and similar mishaps. As a 'last gasp' i went on a little order spree and loaded up on about 100 ml of juice and a 5 pack of generic 510 attys and a couple of classy janty ones. but by then i was back to analogs.
after i built back up to a pack a day again (which took most of the 6 months) i started wheezing and my 6 year old gave my (with a little help from my partner) "the easy way to quit smoking" for xmas and just before chinese new year--i put my new years resolution into effect
So i got back on the horse, purposely ran out of cigarettes on a day i was home alone with my kid (couldn't face the idea of dragging him down to a liquor store for a quick fix) and sorted through all the batteries, attys, liquids and assorted paraphernalia and put together a decent Ego kit and stated vaping menthol with some dashes of cinnamon for variety.
I'm about 10 days in and ready to go shopping again. (before i run out of something crucial)
Like computer tech, things have changed fast since i last went shopping 6 months ago. The ego tank looks appealing, some of the box mods seem to have come a long way toward reliability but above all i want to get some really solid, reliable clean burning atomizers that have 510 fitting.
I've scanned the forum for a couple of days and LR (low resistance i take it) 510s seem to be popular, the ego-tank looks like almost what the doctor ordered (or would have if the FDA wasn't on her ...) but i really hate the idea of the "dry hit"
my biggest problems were with burnt filler, burnt atomizers and burnt anything--hell if i wanted to burn something it would be tobacco.
the filler in all my standard carts was pretty crapped out so i've been dripping for 10 days. It's a bit messy but i can deal with that--what i hate is for no apparent reason the atty's still start putting out a gnarly taste (and it's not just recovery of my tastebuds from being of analogs--i know what that's like.)
cleaning with vodka, pretty good tap water etc have never worked too well in the past and the cartomizer refilling is worse than dripping as far as i am concerned and most of them had a way too airy draw for me.
so to repeat the question more generally what's the closest to dripping (with a fresh atomizer and a fully charged battery) that will work with as much simplicity as buying a pack of newports at the corner (i'm pretty dubious of cartomizers having tried a half dozen or so different ones to no avail but if something new has come out--not too familiar with Boge for instance) let me knwo and i will throw down some more cash for that one.
(btw i have totally given up on going cheap--i don't mind a bargain but i want something ver good quality and very reliable)
