I purchased an 18350 rem Creations tube and rem button switch on April 29th from The Vapor Lair. Started experiencing "hot button" right away. At first I thought it was my coil install, but eventually deduced it was the switch. Went to Vapor Lair site and saw the 45-day warranty policy and the indication that this was a known/common issue. I contacted Vapor Lair (per the instructions on their site) and received a very short email just saying to send it to rem under warranty. No RMA number, no form, nothing official. This seems very fast and loose to me and I'm concerned about ever receiving a replacement.
I sent the button as instructed (USPS Priority) with a print out of the sales confirmation/receipt/email from Vapor Lair instructing me to do so, along with my shipping address and contact information. REM Creations received the faulty button on Friday. I have yet to receive any kind of information, response, confirmation/etc as to when I should expect the replacement.
This all feels very unprofessional to me and I'm starting to think I should have just bought a clone.
I was considering purchasing an 18650 version from The Vapor Lair but I think I'll just hold off now and see if either company does anything to indicate they are capable of a reasonable level of customer service.
