Remote file too large

ECF is so screwy. I was trying to change my Avi. The two are identical in size, composition, format, only a tiny part of the graphics is different but one gets a "remote file too large" the other one don't. I even run the size down and gave them both the same title but still "Remote file too large". Like I said it's screwy.

Here's the real kicker, I can have a moderator put it up for me and it works. Anyone have an answer for me.

Did you check both the pixel dimensions and the file size? It can be 200 x 200 and 19.5 kb max. - even if it's coming from a remote site it still has to be within those limits. (At least that what it says.)

Yes and that's the funny part. They are both gifs. One is 200 x 198px and it fits. The other one is 198 x 198px and it doesn't even though it's smaller. I've ran into this many times on ECF and end up having a moderator put them on for me.
