The black kgo has a coating on them but it starts coming off eventually on both batteries. Instead of it looking spotty I rather just remove it all and have a stainless look. On the ends it comes off easy with my fingernail. The middle is still adhering well. Anyone know the easiest and least destructive way too remove it.

Over the edge...
I've done it by putting an old dead atomizer on, putting it into the chuck of a cordless drill and using 400 grit crocus cloth. 600 would work for a bright finish but I like the "brushed" finish the 400 leaves. I did the cones by putting them on a dowel in the drill chuck. I always ordered black PVs before, but the Ego/Kgo in stainless looks just like a pen. Very low profile.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have a buffing wheel I may use after getting that coating off too make it more smooth and shiny.
