Remove flavor and smell from feed system

So I got another reo mini but this one has a very strong odor and flavor of tobacco juice. I am very sensitive to this smell and taste and it makes me feel nuasious. I have tried water and an alcohol soak to no avail. Any suggestions?

Try removing the O Ring and cleaning that separately.

after passing through clean water, is ready.

I did. I cleaned it as thoroughly as possible. Bobas bounty is insanely strong I guess. Nothing has seemed to help at all. Doing a 2nd longer alcohol soak. Sure hope it goes away.

I would pay $20 or whatever Robert wants and let him put a new feeding system in there. BB is impossible to get out I mean IMPOSSIBLE!!!! Like this crappy cinnamon crap you just cannot get it out ever

I have 2 of everything so if a sickening smell bothers me , I put it away and pull out another thing that has no smell. I find that the nauseous smell will go away if you air it for about 2 weeks. Put the stinking part far away somewhere so you don't see or smell it.

Have you tried just putting some straight pg or vg in it and letting that soak for a day or so? I've heard that vg especially is helpful in soaking up some of the old flavors.

Nope. Gunna try everything first and if all else fails then Ill figure something out.

why in the world would you sell it if you can just send it to Robert? Robert is a super nice guy and I am almost certain he would do it for you for a low low fee. Whatever works for you buddy just saying not worth selling a mod of this class just due to the smell there is always a way don't forget that.

maybe put the mod in a pair of jeans pocket, throw it in a long hot wash cycle in your washer

I sent ab email to rob. The bottom of the switch button is melted a lil too. Dunno how that could have happened. Might need to replace that too.

you had a short with an Atty probably from the center pin being pushed in to far, or a 901 or some sort of adapter was used and it shorted something, probably one of those two things is what melted the bottom of the button, been there done that is your spring OK ? if your button melted your spring probably took a small hit too ! might want to replace it or check it too !

This is how it came to me. It was used from someone else. So iuno. Spring looks ok. Wish I had my new one again. (
