Removing battery connector

Trying to remove the battery connector from my dead 510 battery ... what a pain in the ....!!!!

Have it half way out and I think I bent the connector. Seems oval now

Gonna use the dremel tomorrow

yeah , 510 are a pain .
I used an old 401 battery, screwed it into the 510 battery ( same threads ) put bending pressure on the join to break the glue and wiggled it out.

Granted its 50/50 to which connector came out first , but the 510 lost

Be careful with your dremel. You can easily cut into the liquid filled section. Stay close to the connector without cutting it.

It really is a pain.
