SO I go to PetSamrt today to grab a package of the infamous blue foam...and there was not ONE single package of blue foam/Fluval/Enheim (spelling) to be had!
All I can say is there must be a LOT of vapers in the Columbus GA/Phenix City AL area!

Anyway, what I ended up buying is the Rena Micro Filtration Filstar xP. There are three 6x6x.5" white pads in the box for $4.49. The pads are made from cotton, but they look and feel like a green scrubbie pad. The half inch thickness compresses well.
So I did the straw/plug mod and it works great!!! It also works well with the spring mod, but you just have to make sure it's packed well on either side of the spring (even packed, it still draws very well).
Just thought I'd share.
