Wondering if I can mod my brass quasar into a bf. anyone here ever looked to see if it's possible?
Of course this should not be taken as an "absolute" but I'd say any RDA where the center post extends down through the base, through the center of the 510 can be modded to bf. Even strange configurations like say the V2 Trident that has an adjustable copper pin (that threads into the SS center pin) isn't much of a challenge. As said, not an absolute, one device I love a crack at is the Origen (both the V1 and the V2)...I've read that because of the dual non-connected kidney bowls the Origen is impossible to bf...I don't know about impossible...but it may be pretty hard, personally, as much as I'm not a fan of slotting, the Origen would be a prime candidate for that method (dual slots actually, then corresponding slots cut into the deck down into the kidneys to align with the pin's slots). The Storm A could be done the same way.
Another challenging device would be the Helios though I imagine the center post could be angle drilled like the Trident centers.
I mentioned the Origen v1 to be problematic on another thread because of the dual well. Just sold mine this week but I sure looked hard at it.

This is the "Satin" Version - stay away from the ceramic plated ones (Edit: At least for now) - we've heard reports of them being badly plated.

Got a wild hair up my arsk and decided to make my TOBH v2 a bottom feeder. Took all of 5 minutes. Now I need that lp grand. How's that for creating an excuse. lol

Looking a bit myself. I am not sure I can pass up a genesis bottom feeder.

But that is a cool piece...and the construction simplicity! that has clone with a capital K written all over it...I'm already going through my spare parts/dead device junk box to see if I can toss something together.

If you can find it in stock, you can buy a bottom feed center post for the Origen V2.
