I love those little iGo S's...been modding them from way back, I'd put them up against an ERA any day...maybe not in quality of build but definitely in taste and vape production...one thing that does make them "look" a little better is lightly chuck the 510 in a drill and take some 400 grit to the cap to give it a satin finish.

That Igo-S does look good. When you modified yours, did you drill or just Dremel a notch?

Sweet! Tell me how it goes! I'm contemplating buying a few more of these and selling them on the classies for some profit. I wonder if its against forum rules? It looks as professional as factory and gives the non-handy folk a beast for dual coils builds with the sub ohm kit. I would need the profit margin to be worth the investment, time, and risk of ruining the atty for me though.
Nice job.
Profiteering is frowned upon by many in the world of vaping and on hard core forums it is not tolerated. I understand you are doing a small amt of work and I think you are only able to add 20% to the retail price. But, think about it for reputation sake:). Again nice work.

There is a demand for bottom feed modifications to top feeders but I can't see how it can be met legally on ECF, without the "supplier" becoming a "supplier". Any clarification by a moderator would be most welcomed and appreciated. IMO its a shame we can't speak freely and help a fellow Reonaut out for a small fee without breaking the rules. Thats the way it seems to roll though, even some people (Reonauts) giving out freebies from the generosity and love in their hearts were recently shut down from giving away very useful accessory items (upon request - not solicited). However, it is easy to understand not to offer goods or services for sale on another supplier's forum which is paid for by said supplier.

I have modded RDA's for peeps on ECF, they ship me their device, I drill holes in it then I ship it back, I do it for free...if this practice is colouring outside the lines with the ECF mods then I think this forum may be losing it's way...isn't that, and the great help and advice I've received along the way, why this forum exists?...it's not like we're giving away hand grenades to children to play with so why would someone be shut down for "giving" something away?...is it to protect the interests of the suppliers?

Completely agree. I am sure this isn't an issue....I would hope.
I think more of an issue is when members buy in bulk and redistribute for profit under the radar. Much like a certain member that buys ekowool from ekowool in bulk and opens a fs thread for 2-3 smaller packages at a time every week. Or the one that sells "emergency kits" of wick, wire, etc..
A certain supplier/builder sends me much to give away to the thread members and others. I pay postage and do not charge a thing. It is just a nice thing to do, much like you do. It is how communities, values and/or how we should and do support each other.
I also see SX helping others as well as xtreme101. I find it an honor to be in this company, so should ECF :).

I am getting ready to order my first REO and have been searching through threads for a couple of hours and can't find the answer I'm searching for... I know it's here somewhere... so I'm just going to ask -
 Is it the Low Profile model, or the regular, that the rebuildable atomizers have to be machined to fit?

Thanks, so much.

A standard RM2 is machined to fit a regular REO.

A LP REO will pretty much accept any RBA.

A LP RM2 is not machined therefore it will only fit on a LP REO :)

Just so I understand :)

These new atomizers will be atomizers not currently on the reo compatible list that will now be able to be used in reo grandes?

Will all be able to fit reo grande or will some only be low profile compatible ?

Hey --- is the original list posted at the beginning of the thread occasionally updated? -- like if I wanted to know if the A9 was compatible do I need to post this or just check original list - thanks so much

1. I'm guessing some will fit on a regular Grand, and all will fit on an LP Grand. Rob hasn't said what they are so I don't know if they are on the reo compatible list or not.
2. If an atty is more than 15mm wide at the base, it won't fit on a regular Reo Grand, but will fit on an LP Grand. I would think Rob will advise on the website if it only fits on an LP.
3. I don't think the original post is updated, so best to ask.

The A9 doesn't appear to have bottom-feed capability, it would have to be modified, if this is possible, not sure how the airflow control works on it.
