It fires fine with the rm2.

I would check the center pin on the Divo. Is it recessed to far into the atty to make contact. Or it the center pin on the grand pushed to far into the 510 connector.

I am by no means an expert like a few others but that is what I would look at next.

The center pin is more recessed on the Divo. Is it adjustable?

And thanks for the help! :)

Yes the center pin of the Divo is threaded and you should be able to back it out a bit. Mine were tight I believe they use some glue when they put them in. I do use my Divo on both Woodvils and Grands. If the center pin in the grand was pushed down you should be able to push it up also. Remove the tube first and push from the bottom.

I am pulling mine off now to try. But I suspect that you can use a flat tip screw driver and turn counterclockwise and the pin will come out.
Yes it will, I removed min to drill a lower a drain hole. But it's tough, I ended up boiling and then freezing it to get it to turn.

Mine is very tight as well….Not as straight forward as I had hoped.

It may be easier to move the center pin on the grand.

Thank you FB….I knew an expert would come along.

Both the cyclone and RM2 are excellent RBAs. You really can't go wrong with either one. Both vape well and build easy.

RM2 +'s are ceramic deck and wide posts.

Cyclone +'s are SS construction and higher quality. I also find it a plus that you can build on either side of the posts adding flexibility to position it properly on a BF mod. The airhole placement is adjustable because the cap mounts with Orings

For the price you can't get a better vape than an RM2. Vape wise it can keep with up and often beat BF RBAs at any price point.

I find the same to be true about the cyclone and I believe the extra cost is justified by the materials and build quality.

It all comes down to what features are important to you my brother :)

Russ good summation, but the Reomizer 2 has one difference that for me is an advantage over any other bottom feeder being sold at any price. The others have the liquid come through a post which is elevated. You squeeze in and then the liquid doesn't squonk out.

The Reomizer 2 has the hole up through the bottom, so you squonk out and the excess is pulled back down.

So you have a trade off. If you are looking for more of a standard dripping experience, where you have to be precise then a Cyclone or other, let's call them post bottom feeders is better. Also because the liquid pools on the bottom, you probably can go longer between squonks.

On the other hand if you want to just Squonk and have the excess pulled down. No thinking about am I going to flood it, but doing it often to avoid dry hits then the Reomizer 2 rules.

I tried a cyclone and a ERA [I think] and I ended up selling both of them. I just use the Reomizer V2.

I'm a simple guy [Yeah Right] and I have my simple solution that keeps me happy.

1. Reomizer V2
2. FC - 2000 porous ceramic wick
3. Kanthal 24Gauge

So I do 3 wraps of Kanthal 24g and every single time I get a .37Ohm build. Because FC-2000 is stone and 1/8th of an inch, every time I wrap it I get the same Ohms. And it's really easy. The 24 Gauge is very thick and stone doesnt' burn or degrade. So I get around 2-3 months out of my build. Taste is great too. You might think that .37 is low, but take into account that the Fc-2000 stone absorbs heat and I have bigger air holes drilled. It's not too hot a temperature vape.

The Reomizer 2 is perfect for Fc-2000 because the Fc-2000 isn't as absorbent as other materials. So Each time I vape I squonk before hand and the excess is pulled down and I get a wet tasty vape.

Anyway, I like my setup because it's very hassle free and I think the Reomizer 2 rules.

I gave up with the ceramic because of the dry hits and had better luck with just SS mesh, although it's fiddly to work with. I'd be wary of going under about 0.6Ω without the new sub-Ohm kit, unless you have modified your grand in other ways.

I totally agree with your thoughts on the RM2, it's a diamond of an atty and my ADV with 26g kanthal. With the new SO kit i am happily running duals on an igo-w4 at 0.3Ω and it's a monster!

I 100% agree with your post except the Ceramic Wick being too dry. The ones I bought here FC-2000 Porous Ceramic Wicks worked great. Been using a different Bottom Feeder.

I have a Grand SL, with the new Sub Ohm Modifications, coming in the mail around Wed Apr 30th.

Tom,

Yes I agree the RM2 is one hell of an RBA. It's very easy to build an excellent vaping setup on it to provide VTF tailored to any personal preference.

I wanted to begin using only RBAs that had no brass though so in addition to my chalices I got some cyclones.

Even with the stock post feed it didn't flood like my hornets were prone to. The hole was low enough and in concert with suction, it provided adequate drainage.

I was fortunate enough to have a friend who drilled new feed holes right at deck level. Now they drain on par with most RBAs with deck drain. Only one drains better but it's basically a unicorn - the chalice :)

Cyclones made within the last month or so now have the hole much lower than when I got mine. Basically at deck level.

I've heard of ceramic but I prefer a wick that I can insert thru my coil rather than wrap around. With the exceptional characteristics of Koh Gen Do cotton, I have found the last wicking media I will likely ever use. :)

Congrats on your grand. I have the fat lady ready to sing for you :)
