So early last week I ordered and paid for "a" brass coloured D clone off ebay and today I got "them"...yup, they sent me 2, in 2 different envelopes, silly shippers, I love it when that happens

At any rate, while I'm bf'ing them I'm looking at the shavings coming out...much to my disappointment, the center pins are not gold plated copper, get this, they're gold plated SS, like what the hell, who plates SS?

I give credit where it's due, the original is better quality no doubt, but is it $60 - $70 better?...no...the clone D's are fine and are no more/less sloppy than the original...but that is just my totally subjective opinion.

Pickled ...too funny, you know that's gonna stick. Actually with the D's I don't get too bent over the SS pins, they're fatties, even with a 1.5mm bore there's still plenty of meat, I doubt I could calculate the V drop...I was just looking forward to the copper, meh, I got 2 for 1, I'll take it but there is a small part inside that says get a hold of this seller and point out the error...but I'm sure I'll get over it.

Appreciate it. Should be on the list for an original, was curious when I had seen the clones out for under 10.
